That's utterly ridiculous & OTT
This was an ego problem, nothing else. As far as I was aware this was an inspirational thread, & it achieved it's purpose, lots of people (Peter included) got back into dogs.
Just amazed that people are still sceptical after all these years. How many bloody years do I need to work to prove that it's possible to trade profitability? Last week, my profit from Ascot was way bigger than the turnover of the software. It's crazy when you see that.
I also think people forget that Bet Angel was created because nothing was available at the time, Betfair didn't even have an API. It wasn't created because of trading, it was the other way around. It helped create trading.

What I found a little odd was that from the screen shots he traded all times of day and was sometimes greened up way before the majority of money would even hit the market. So Memphis, is the truth that you have a bot that you believe is successful but you have only ever used practice mode?

however, re the OP. much as his thread created inspiration, i don't think folk should peddle fantasy disguised as reality. it says many things about an individual when they are unable to accept truth to such an extent that they create an alternate reality. my opportune moment in spotting the practice session header was (i feel) just the tip of the iceberg and i feel that many naive noobs (hell myself included) could have wasted more than just time chasing the premise here... not saying that it's impossible to make reasonable profit on the dogs, just that i don't get why you'd want to pretend that you were making star trades on markets all day, when in fact they were probably just random clicks on practice markets.

I always thought that office in the vids looked like cgi.
it makes me seethe the hate Peter & his team get. That post by Poklius burned me inside; god knows how Peter felt reading that!

I realise that and I think the discussion needs to be between various parties on the thread.
It was just the conspiracy theory comment that somehow it was all part of a marketing campaign, which it isn't. I'm tired of that talk. It's complete nonsense, total bollocks. I work so hard to put integrity into things by eating my own dog food when others obviously don't bother. So that's what riles me, the amount of effort I put into trading etc and then you get comments like that.
I shall now go off and consult with my reptilian leader on the matter.
