Hello

I'm looking for an extensive historical data set of live in play raw data (not aggregated). Is anybody willing to share such data or can point me in the right direction?

Although Betfair historic data will be included in what i'm doing - i'm looking for historic live data such as the press association.

The press association offer Live Betting Shows - "Live betting shows and the following messages 'going down', 'at the post', 'going behind', ‘going in stalls’, 'off' message. Using complex algorithms from on track book makers - and with constant update these rates are a good representative of the true value of any given runner"

I've contacted the press association but they want 12k per year for UK live data - i'm just waiting for a price on historic data

I think maybe you are wasting your time with that stuff?

I spent ages looking at it and there was little correlation or predictive patterns in the live shows. Bookies don't act the same way as a freely traded market.

Fair do's you could be right. To be honest i'm not the brains behind it but my friend is a data scientist and he thinks there could be something in it he just needs the data sets.

How did you approach it if you don't mind me asking?
