Hi
I wonder if anyone has any ideas on a problem I am having.
I am running BA automation trying out a few ideas but I am finding that quite often the market is suspended only a few seconds into the race so I never find out what would have happened to my in play bets. It seems to mainly in the Grey hound markets.
Any suggestions would be great as I can't get an idea of how well my BOT is working if I don't know what would have happened i.e would bet have been matched etc.

Thanks

Thank you Dallas, that would explain whats happening.
Is there anyway of finding out if the strategies work in practice mode which rely on placing closing bets in-play?

why when I did a trade on football last night I lay a trade for £7.00 with £17.00 labiality and with greening after 25 ticks up to 2min before kick off when it kicked off the match was suspended right until the end even at half time so was unable to save my total loss of £17.00

This thread explains ways of seeing a days P/L when in practice mode

but if you try to close in-play on a market that does not have in-play betting your effectively just straight betting on the outcome - in which case you'll need to refer to the result from somewhere to determine if you would of made a profit or loss
