Hi,

I would like some guidance on setting up this bet on automation.

I like to place a bet on the horse with the 6th BSP at the off if it trades below 7 during running. I'd like to place a £10 bet.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance

You can't test for BSP but you could, at post time (or @+1s IP), create a rule that sets a selction signal (not a market signal) that only applies to 6th "By position (sorted in order of favouritism)".

Then you'd create a Back Bet rule with 2 conditions, 1 that tests for back price <7 and a 2nd condition that checks the status of the current selection's signal, which you set in rule 1.

Hi Thanks for the info.

Could you elaborate on this in more detail. I'm struggling to find the information in order to do this and being pretty new to the software, have not done this sort of thing before.

Thanks again

The topic is pretty huge and if I tried to explain it would probably create more questions than answers. The best start is to read the appropriate section of manual 2 or 3 times and then I'm sure the pieces will start to fall into place for you. It will certainly aquaint you with all the relevant terminology (signals, selections, conditions etc) if nothing else. I and others will be more than willing to help when you perhaps have some more specific questions.
There's also a lot of example rule files on the forum which are great starting places on which to make your own tweaks.

I hope this doesn't sound too unhelpful but it really is the best place to start.

This section is where I'd start if I were you: https://www.betangel.com/user-guide/adv ... 3D&mw=MzIw
