Hi,
Could anyone kindly help me to fix the order that my scalp bets are placed. I am trying to place the back bet first, then the lay bet, and to repeat this over and over. The problem I have is that the lay bet sometimes gets placed first which immediately puts my trade in the red. I have ended up with lay bets being 480 and then the back bet being odds of say 3.
I am also finding that I get 2 or more lay bets or back bets being placed at one time which again creates a red situation. What I m seeking is to place 1 back bet then 1lay bet . Then to repeat this sequence.

I have battled with this for some time trying all sorts different automation rules . I would be very grate ful if someone could help. Thanks

Tick the fill/kill box on the parameters tab to ensure your lay is placed after your back bet is filled (starts to be filled)

And add a unmatched bets condition
is equal to 0

Hi,
thanks for the lightning response and full answer to my query. Thanks to you I now know what these terms mean. I have a long way to go to understand Betangel fully but I am confident I will get there with the great help from the forum.

Hi Dallas ,
Thanks for your help. Just testing the new automation settings and just one thing I am uncertain about do I set both the back and lay bet parameters as offset bets, and then do I set both the back and lay bets with the kill command. Or do I just apply the offset bet instruction and kill instruction to the lay parameters. Many thanks

You only need the one rule type (place back bet) with the 'offset bet with greening' and the fill/kill option ticked on the parameters tab
then the condition advised above

Hi
thanks for the previous help with this I have applied all of the instructions given and they work great.

My only confusion is with greening.

Question - If I use the parameter offset with greening does this just green up my first back and lay trade and then close my trading on that particular market. Or does it start over and then green up on my second back and lay trade repeating this process until all of my trigger number have been met?

Question - If the green up process continues for each back and and lay trade - are these individual green up profits added together?

I have also tried to green up manually on the one click screen. Sometimes it seems to close down any future scalps on that market. Other times the green up figure continues to change and I find I can green up again..Totally confused any help with this would be very much appreciated . Thanks

It will keep firing until your triggers run out and your profits will keep increasing with each successful trade completed.

Betfair apply a delay on all in-play betting (1 sec on horse racing) so when you click on the figure in the trade profit column that's the profit you will get IF you get matched at those odds - and that amount will then appear below the selections names
The volatility of in-play prices and the delay means your not guaranteed to have your greening up bet matched so you may have to resubmit it more than once. Have a read of this thread so you ensure when your greening up in-play your doing it correctly

Hi,
thanks for helping me with greening up.

I am using the watch list and see there are 2 amounts shown. When I green up both amounts are green and the same. And when I click on the trade profit figure on the one click grid I get a different amount for the bottom figure. sometimes in green and other times in red. If both figures are green and different amounts does this represent 2 different amounts of profit. And if both are red but different amounts does this mean 2 separate amounts of loss. Any help with this would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

The figure in the trade profit column is the profit or loss you will have if you green up at those odds (and are matched), the figures under the selections names are how much you will win or lose should that selection win, if you have greened up successfully all these figures should be for the same amount meaning no matter which wins you make or lose the same
