Teaching your kids to trade

I don't know how many here have kids, but I live in a house with lots of kids running in and out of my trading room.

My oldest is 9 now and he already shows an interest in watching the races and what I do.

Having said this he says what I do is boring.

We have seen threads on how to explain to your friends you are a trader but what about explaining to your kids???

Tell him really you're a spy and all the numbers going up and down are codes that you are cracking

explaining it to kids!!, I can't even get adults to understand what I'm doing, they don't get it at all.

Well In the past gamblers were hidden from children as their office was the bookmakers or the race course, now our office is our home so I think that we should be open and after all children can learn a lot from many trading skills.

1. Be confident

2. Be Patient.

3. Control your emotions

4. Look for value in every transaction you take part in.

If you get an opportunity to teach someone (an adult) to (in this case) trade, you really should take it. In my opinion.
