This tournament, held every two years, is a female event where Team USA plays against Team Europe. There are a total of 28 matches: 8 Friday, 8 Saturday, 12 Sunday. Every match gives the winning team one point or both teams get half a point if the match ends in a draw.
This year's event is being held in the States, with the Team USA pre-event favourites at around 1.50 (estimate based on Betfair chart). After the Friday, Team USA are three points up, leading 5.5 - 2.5. You can currently lay Team USA at around 1.13 on Betfair.
With 20 matches to be played over this weekend, a lot can still happen.
I'm going to lay Team USA now at 1.13, with a view to backing them at 1.31 during the weekend: this would effectively double my money.

Unfortunately it didn't work out this time, Europe played OK during the weekend but never recovered from those Friday afternoon blunders.
