Might be a case of all fur coat and no knickers. I'd rather tinker under the hood where the money's made as no one sees them other than me so no point wasting time prettying them up.

just ended up in a negative position in the last race at york when the event settled despite greening up inplay. Betfair say there was a reduction factor due to horse not running but this shouldn't matter... or am I missing something.

You shouldn't unless you had a green on the NR

turn out my final back bet to green up in-play had a reduction factor applied due to a non runner at th gates meaning i unbeknown had a liability of -70quid. rare this happens but something to be wary of.

If you hedge in-running when a non-runner is still in the market that will cock things up.

Great run by Miss Eyecatcher there, horses like that are great to trade in running that's one to add to the notes Prominent racer, good jumper strong finisher and goes on any ground. Do you guys just do pre race or in running as well?

Was that a race at Fontwell? Malindi Bay in the 1745 looked very suspect to me...
