I'm trading on Murray's match tonight & I have bestbetting.com open in a separate window.
It's quite interesting watching the price of Boyle Sports - it's changing everytime there appears to be movement within Betfair.
How much of this is simply due to them changing their prices accordingly, or are Boyle Sports actually driving the massive liquidity within Betfair?
Let's be honest, they're not one of the major household bookmaking names - outside of Ireland people will only have seen their presence on Sunderland's footy shirts.
I wonder if some bookies are finding it easier to increase turnover & reduce liabilities through Betfair trading as opposed to online bookmaking?

Blue square have been doing the same thing for years. I dont think they're using the exchanges themselves, I think its rather a case of them wanting to shorten their odds asap, and since the bookies odds will inevitably follow the exchange odds anyway it makes sense to tie their odds to the exchange odds very quickly
