Hi, I'm trying to use Guardian to automate my trades in soccer. Unless I'm overlooking something obvious it doesn't seem to be as intuitive as with the horses. If I want to create a rule that triggers when the score is, say 2-0, how do I do that?
I initially thought I would place conditions so that the trade is triggered when preceding scores (0-0, 1-0 etc) are at odds of 1000? However, in reality I've noticed that odds dont always go out that far once that scoreline has been passed. If I bring the odds down then an unlikely future scoreline (but still possible) can be triggered. Also if I want to trigger a rule when the score is 3-3 I would have to put down umpteen combinations of preceding scorelines! If anyone can advise it would be much appreciated!

Which soccer market/s are you wanting to trade in?

Hi Dallas,
I'm trying to trade in the correct score market but utilising Guardian so I dont have to sit for hours monitoring each scoreline. I'm finding that a bit of lateral thinking is required just to get a basic rule to trigger with countless conditions of what the score 'can't' be at 1000. Am I massively over complicating things or is there an easier way?? Many thanks for any tips!

Untill Betfair make the score avalibale via the API in the same way they do with tennis matches the only way round is by using signal but these tend to work best in match odds and O/U markets.

For the CS market its a little more tricky and the best way is along the line of how you have been doing it using odds as a indicator, where possible if you can switch your strategy to the O/U market you should find it easier, for example if you wanted to trade the 2-1 or 1-2 score line these odds would be mirrored by and move exactly the same the O/U3.5 market
