Hi all.

Your opinions please if you dont mind?

Ive been trading using betangel for around a month now and very happy in principal with everything it offers me. (so much easier than my previous methods)
However Im a little concerned about one thing.
Basically Im quite knowledable in horses and this is my chosen field to work within. Im selecting the right horses and practically every horse I select Im able to make profit on, however I seem to be missing a hell of a lot of oppertunities.
On Tuesday for example I missed out on around £100 of profit and its starting to annoy me now!! Bearing in mind Im restricting my stakes to minimum whilst getting the hang of trading, this would have been a great result for me.
I am scalping prior to the off to boost my profit, before backing before the off in order to green up in running to secure a much better result for me.
The problem lies when Im clicking the green up button on the one click screen in play.
The delay between me clicking the mouse and the required lay bet registering is causing me to miss a lot of good oppertunities ( unless the horse wins of course ).
Im using refresh every 500milliseconds (any quicker and Im making to many mistakes at present). It just seems that its that delay between clicking desired green up profit and the bet actually registering is causing the problem.

Is it just me thats too slow? My internet connection? My PC? Or betangel itself?

I understand trading is a cut throat business and speed is essential so Im expecting this to be my own fault but just wanted a second opinion.

Any replies would be very welcome!

Thanks in advance.

Hello Taddog i have been down this Road before. I trade in play and have done quite well out of it, i pre race trade and now am trying to get into dutching which has brought back some nice profits. Depending on how old your PC is start by getting one built to some decent specs (speak to Forex traders) about thier machines. Then get yourself a fairly fast Broadband line. I have a dual core processor in my PC and no other programs on the PC except Microsoft Office Suite for spreadsheets. It greens up so rapid.Try not to use a stop loss to close, it hits out fast
Alot of traders tend not to do in play trading but with the speed its quite profitable
good luck
