Trading is about to Change
you may be right and if so, i'm not certain that's a game changer in the sense that everyone is anticipating. got my fingers xx'd here that it's not just a platform change. certainly new tech re gps would change the game, tho that is of course limited (at present) to horse racing. that said, motor sports and football all use trackers to a large degree for tactical purposes, maybe if this is released into the public domain as data feeds, then the game changer will be more widespread.mcgoo wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 9:07 amMy money is on cloudnorthbound wrote: ↑Tue Oct 10, 2017 8:06 amA few random guesses:
- Ability to trade Smarkets with ladder/automation and take advantage of their 2% commission
- Plenty more condition types in automation, including min-by-min soccer stats (shots on target, possession, etc...)
- Bet Angel to become a cloud service: no need to download, install anything or leave your computer/vps on all dayCan't stand the suspense

All this building up to it, with some people dreaming big what it will be, is in danger of going flat to some when it's eventually released!
I remember bagging a girl called Debbie 20 years back. I'd fancied her for ages, and eventually found a large bag of Minstrels was the key to getting her in the sack, only to find she had a massive hairy mole on her ass. I've never been more disappointed, and ever since then I've come to hate surprises

Unfortunately, that is very likely unless it's a make a million button. But it will change the way you trade I'd imagine.

Binary ladder?
Batch/tranch posting of bets or some innovation on customisation of execution...enabling the exit of a trade via the laying of other outcomes and so forth, smart routing?
Looking forward to finding out
Hope the core product remains the same or better obviously, especially excel.

This reminds me of the build up to the launch of the Honda VFR1200F motor bike. Then was absolutely slated by the motorcycle press because it did not match the expectations that Honda had created. It was not a bad bike, but when you have been promised a game changer (can't remember their exact wording but it was something similar) but then deliver a decent bike but nothing ground breaking there is the inevitable feeling of a let down.
The bike has sold in decent volume but nothing like the numbers Honda were expecting.

I thought the tease video was slightly tongue in cheek.. but I do expect Bet Angel version 2.0, at the very least !
Will the update be released in October ? Everybody needs to calm down as I think expectations are running high. No matter what it is the fundamentals of trading will not change. Manage risk and do your research. It might be a game changer but let’s just wait and see. October ?
If it’s what I think it is, I hope it can be accessed or swapped by one click of the mouse.
