Does anyone scalps these markets successfuly?
Im trying with all my scalping weapons and I m constantly break even for last four weeks. Last one was especially bad for me

I successfully scalp early markets (20-40 minutes before start), but today's markets were particularly volatile - I'm sure I would have lost if I tried it today.

Worth reading through Dragon's posts - probably find some good nuggets. From what I gather, he's on the outsiders (sometimes multiple): viewtopic.php?p=137769#p137769

I have an idea for a straight betting system in the place market.
Is there enough liquidity all year round in the betdaq place markets to get decent sized bets on at the same price thats on offer on BF?
The idea is to test on BF in practice mode and if it is break even or better use a real bank on BD

Don't really understand the point of the test. If it breaks even on Betfair why would it fair any better on Betdaq ?

Very limited on daq, markets busy before the off as bookies use for hedging. Try getting a bet on morning you'll only get matched if worse than Betfair with some cross exchange bot snaffling. Gave up using Daq years ago as only way could get matched early was offering worse than on offer on Betfair, that's the win market, guessing place is 100x worse

The place market on BD 1 minute before post time usually has a spread like 2.2 - 2.4 so really bad! No SP either is really poor.

Probably the comission difference between the two exchanges.

I have always wondered when exchange users use the word commission.

Maybe I am wrong but I believe it is technically a fee not commission. A fee is part of term on a product... yet a commission is part of a contract.

Not that it really matters but technically we should say the words fees.. I always use the word commission but from my understanding were using the wrong word. Hey ho. That was 5 minutes I will never get back.

It's commission from Betfair's perspective, but not from ours. :)
