Is anybody really winning consistently and is he/she willing to share the winning system with me? I would pay for a really solid system that convinces me (I will examine it very carefully before parting with my money). my mail is [email protected]

cheers

I have a number of good, solid systems, but...........

You can never predict how the markets will move on the day or who is likely to make them move, so the system or systems you are looking for are difficult to find.

Like you, I thought along the same lines, one system that regularly produces a profit even if small is better than making any loss, but the reality is it is difficult and frustrating to rely on one system only when trading.

I have tried to run individual systems and had some great results, but have also had some horrendous ones and the only thing I can put that down too on the bad days is the market and who is piling in or out at any one time, stable markets are the key to any good system and there are a few, but trying to use a good system in a volatile market with people piling in with crazy amounts will drive you to insanity!!

I don't know what anyone else thinks but I do believe you have to adapt your strategy on the day in relation to how the markets stability or instabilty seem to be.

An example was yesterday..............Dascombes horse in the Seller, nearly 1.2 Million matched, chunks of money flooding in and the market was all over the place.

On what it had shown previously you could'nt seriously fancy it, it was in a seller and at 1.7 or what ever it was it had to be a lay with trading out if necessary in running, that was the only strategy I could seriously consider in the market as a whole, anything else would have been potential suicide, thankfully I got it right, but if I would have tried to employ any of the systems I would of normally used I would have probably just incurred a big loss.

Regards

Hi Corbus,

I'm relatively new to trading but strongly believe that if you're not willing to put the work in and find a strategy/system of your own then maybe you should draw a line under betting exchanges and move onto something else. I don't say this because I think its unfair to look for a shortcut but because i don't believe there is a shortcut and if you're willing to pay somebody else to share a system with you then you're leaving yourself wide open to all sorts of scams. If you look on the internet on any given day there must be hundreds of 'traders' offering dodgy systems.

I also agree with kingloule, even if somebody sold a system to you and gave you step by step instructions on what to do when A or B happens, you still need to have some experience in the market to be able to apply the strategy because the markets are usually very dynamic. Even though you know the mechanics of a situation without experience its very hard to get it right.

I think its a bit like learning to drive. When you first sit in the drivers seat even though you know that in order to move off you only have to put the car in 1st gear, gently push down on the accelerator and ease off the clutch, you still stall the engine!
