Live feed for watching UK Racing?
Currently setup with Sky HD but delay can sometimes be as much as 4 or 5 seconds on RUK or ATR and this can be a major problem.
Anybody know of anything else?
Whats the fastest?
SIS and Turf TV are as close to live as your likely to get, although it will cost the amount of a small island to get them, useful if your doing inrunning but not worth it if your pre race trading (I have both ATR and RUK and just get out before they start loading and have never had a problem).
We have noticed that Racing UK isn't that far behind terrestrial when both are on and the biggest lag is on ATR. SIS of course is the fastest but for pre-race traders it doesn't make an enormous difference. In running punters would obviously benefit from fastest pictures and the fastest is to be on track yourself! If you do use terrestrial then make sure you pictures go straight from the aireal into your TV or viewing device and do not route them through an intermediate device or that will slow it down again.
For a comparison of the lag have a look at the video Peter put up.

No real use to pre race traders. For in play you get the fastest pics available but you still need a good few months behind you and a lot of skill, knowledge and discipline to make it work. Very expensive unless you're already making a packet and many are closing downGreen Park wrote:Any views on exchange shops?

too many distractions for me, and the difference in time is very much track dependant from what i hear, the serious in-play traders now go to the track and hire a box between them and play live from the track. so the advantage has been taken by them in many instances.
