Can you pls explain why they don't just void the bets on that runner? From my account balance, it seems that only lay bets have been voided while I still have exposure on the back side. Why is that?

I'm always very suspicious when Betfair take so long to settle a market.

sporting life and gg is NOT qualifying the Fav as a non runner
https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/res ... es'-hurdle
https://gg.co.uk/racing/18-dec-2017/musselburgh-1340

but both specifying <refused to race> which is not clear for betfair I guess. That's why they don't know how to settle it properly.

I am very much afraid of voiding all the bets.

How long does it take ti make a decision?!!!
Totally poor and unacceptable from BF.
Not only do they faff about with one race they also affect trading the rest of the afternoon to for many of us.
SkyBet have refunded stakes ages ago as a "goodwill gesture" so didn't take them long to decide what to do

the question is: was it a non runners if yes then they should adjust SPs. is <Refused to start>=non runner or not

Refused to race is a runner isn't it? It's like a horse that refuses to come out the stalls.

But I'm sure Betfair will make up their own rules as per.

It refused to races and was under rules. No idea what Betfair are doing or why.

I think they are probably having issues with settling SP, as it was all over the place and has now disappeared from the marketbook.

I think it made more steps backwards than forward. Very clear non runner. but they left it. that's minus 60 from the total. But have to say very happy with the total anyway
