Yep, every scalp moved against me at Leopards just then, came out unscathed but struggling to make any profit.

Lay value on Mullins horses now maybe.

I've done some easy scalping on Mengli Khan and Real Steel, for a few ticks a time. Prices have been bouncing around steadily.

The 14:45 at Wolverhampton was delayed over 7 minutes. I was not watching a stream but surely that is a ridiculous delay.
Anyone have any idea why the race was delayed so long?

Following my bad start in the 12:55 I never really got any momentum going today

I've done ok, but i made a right mess of one race and went inplay. Luckily I got out of trouble and no money was lost. Despite not losing, I know it was textbook chasing losses, so it's put a downer on proceedings

I had a dull session then went on a great run late on which was a little flattering.

today was my last day with trading, don’t really want to bore you all with why but been trying for best part of three years now & I’m unable to make it pay, I can’t think of anything more I’ve wanted to succeed in but after a long think this really isn’t something I feel I can consistently be good at so today’s the day, best of luck in the future to everyone on here new & old. new year, new beginnings, new job & all that, cheers guys

Jockey at wolves just got the race length wrong, pushed his horse for a 7f finish in a 1m6f race, haha

As somebody new to the trading side of things, can i ask what it is that stops you from being profitable? Is it silly mistakes eroding all the wins or just more losses than profits? I intend to take this full time and have just presumed it will take a certain amount of time to get good, but 3 years is a good innings so I'm interested to know what's stopping you?

Hope Koratt wont mind me saying, but he has struggled with the emotional side of it. Trading is a right old rollercoaster and it can mess with your mind.

This happened before at Wolverhampton in a 1m4f race - absolutely beggars belief!

When I was twelve-years-old, I may not have been able to ride a horse but I could easily have drawn a map from memory of every racecourse in Britain, complete with starting posts and fences. Trained jockeys are now lining up without having a clue how long the race is (I don't believe that he/she could have lost count of the number of laps they did).

Just a thought; I also nearly threw the towel in 9 years or so ago as I couldn’t master manual trading. I decided to try automation ( then excel) and never looked back. It surpassed my wildest expectations, truly
However if Korratt decides to give it a try, there is still an amount of emotion involved , but to a lesser extent. Some days (Boxing Day) are fantastic, some days (today, for example) hardly a bet fired in. Patience is a great attribute to have.
Worth a look ?
