What sort of Technical Analysis Indicators are useful in horse racing trading ?
I heard that not all indicators used in financial markets apply to sports trading, so I'd like to hear your opinion on the subject, which indicators are useful and which aren't.

I wasn't fan of technical analysis in the financial markets and I think it's even less effective in sports markets. This is because they don't act in the same way and don't have the same characteristics for certain.
I've modelled both extensively and I think some of the technical indicators that have been put forward as being useful on sports markets are at best very poor. I guess there are some things that people are used to that work for them, but I don't use many of the advanced technical indicators being of use because I can clearly see that they are very flawed when used on these types of markets.
I would advise caution when attempting to use these indicators. Obviously I can only speak for myself maybe others have different views?
