Hi All,

Anyone expieriencing strange problems using the main betfair website... my screen in both i.e and firefox just keeps wanting to refresh hence I can't actually select anything!

I have had issues for the last few days and the whole thing seems very unstable at present.

Had some problems with the responsiveness, seems very sticky and erratic with the prices freezing. Has been happening for a week but today is worse. I had BT check my line / broadband connection but it's fine, and Betfair say they have no problems their end. Bleedin' annoying. Anyone else experiencing such problems - BT customers included? Cheers

I am having the same issues but with Zen not BT. I tried another vendors product and it was much better strangely. Going to give the new version a go and see if that improves things.

Betfair have removed all references to problems on their site by the look of it. Bit underhanded?

Thewy always do with anything that puts them in a bad light. Had you started this afternoon had issues and decided to take the afternoon off because of the troubles and then come back this evening you wouldnt know what they had done as all mention is gone.

Just think back to when they had to make an apology - I dont remember seeing so many other annoucements being made in one day after the apology was put up.

Just as bad responses today - if not worse, anyone else?

Have attached an image that shows the slow responses.

The big spike is a 3 sec response and all the others are around 1sec.

Zen Internet

Yesterday it was back to normal for the evening racing. If anything you would expect it to be worse in the evening as more people are at home and therefore on the internet. I live in a small residential area so it isnt business traffic causing issues.

We are not being flooded with issues so it must be this age old Betfair routing problem.

Yes I suspect it is the old routing issue - very frustraiting. At times it is taking 3 seconds to know how much of an order has been matched, so can't put in the counter order until I know by which time the price has gone quite often.

Will have to avoid scalping until it is resolved as it is like doing it with only half the info.
