When I was a kid my dad always used to say to me that bookies will take bets on anything. Having an overdeveloped imagination I used to take that a little bit too literally, but now it seems it may be true....

Check out this http://www.intrade.com/ Irish exchange where you can bet on sports such as whether the US or Israel with launch an overt air strike against Iran! Anyone got any inside info on this one?

Without looking into it in any detail I would guess it is a marketing thing a bit like Paddypower often offers unsavoury markets but it gets them in the news for free.

Having read your link, all I can say is that I find the whole idea of so called janitor polices repugnant.

Just hope that chillian mining company don’t hold one, for the sake of those miners
