Historically, punters take v short prices last race of the day .. especially when a good few well backed horses have won.
Sort of expect top 3 to shorten.
Cheltenham Festival 2018
Several years ago I used to make an easy £50-£100 on most big-race antepost markets and the Cheltenham Festival guaranteed me a nice profit before I even started trading. Sadly antepost markets have dried up now and Cheltenham's harder work than it used to be.

6/6 so far. All that prep seems worth it because everything today went like clockwork.
I'm going tiny in the last and going into tomorrow confident.
I realise nobody actually cares and this P&L style message will almost certainly irritate Derek but until the missus gets home to talk to, I have to make do with you lot!

Without the obligatory screenshot that 6/6 means nothing, Shaun.
6/6 is pretty good.
5/6 on Betdaq, and it was a huge swing (but, to be fair, last race was also big swing).
Will post in the Betdaq section, after racing.
Tght Betdaq traded ok. Matchbook prices are v deep, and same as Betfair.

The correct description would be 'small but beautifully formed'.

Day 1 : £33,924,777 (2017 £34,322.245) Down 1.1%
Obviously depends on the race price profiles but to misquote Mark Twain, I think rumours of betfairs demise may have been greatly exagerated.

Hard to make a comparison but I would say it's about the same. Three odds-on favourites and a 7/4F this year, compared to one odd-on fav Altior (1/4), 6/4 & 2/1F.ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Tue Mar 13, 2018 5:42 pmDay 1 : £33,924,777 (2017 £34,322.245) Down 1.1%

ready to go for it tomorrow, was playing very cautious today but the markets were great, much smoother than I had anticipated
