You are not alone Naffman, Betdaq has become totally unusable in the 5 mins before the off, it has got gradually worse during the day and was similar yesterday for me - you click sit and think hmmm did i actually click. Only for 30 secs later to see your order in the market but the market has gone through it but hasn't taken your order. Or your order never hits the market or has but then you have to sit and wait trying to get your closing order matched.

Yesterday I was left having to use the website inplay to close out a position because of the bet not being submitted into the actual market despite it showing on the ladder.

So disappointing that their infrastructure can't handle these markets.

They seemed to struggle just before the off there. Left me with a nasty open position inplay but managed to get about for -£60!!
I bet even you could feel the old ticker beating faster?

I've seen pretty much everything in my time so I usually just slot into best of a bad situation mode when things go tits up.

Betfair Live Video was about 20 seconds delayed in last race. Anyone else get the same?

That was the case yesterday, the race appeared over as the two principles jumped the last.

Good luck anyone getting 28/28 this year! If so you must be a seriously good trader

I won't be getting 28/28 this year, unfortunately. I stopped on that last race for a small loss when it started to feel a bit dodgy.

I am very disappointed to have come back to see Betdaq aren't really any further forward than they were last year.

The volume of activity they must be getting this week I suspect is no more than Betfair get in the middle of a normal week and the Betdaq systems can't cope at all with it.

I would sooner they had invested in their infrastructure more than these offers to get people in as anyone giving it a go this week has likely been put off using it long term due to their infrastructure struggling so badly.

Oh well, a decent day but should have been so much better - just never had the confidence to push on after that first race.

Let's hope they have it sorted for tomorrow!

Thats a v interesting stat.

Matchbook working well .. a few teething bugs, but at 0% comm, u can live with it.

My friend thinks he will save 1k in comm, over the week, and give Betfair something to think about. (if they care, which is doubtful)

Only 300K for Thursday's opening JLT Novices' Chase - overnight turnover seems to be halving each day!
