Don't know why Betfair have scrapped their email service. Chat to them about anything slightly complexed and they have to contact the exchange team and get back to you by email!!!

Rant over, hopefully.
Keep us informed, Derek, such situations should not be hushed up.

Panic over - they resettled the market again, at 11:28 today and my green book has been restored.

It appears the issue wasn't a back bet appearing but the corresponding lay bet had disappeared. It wasn't much money but it's worrying all the same. Somebody raised the issue on the Betfair community but for some reason I was unable to reply.

Let's just hope they got a new team to manage the markets today!

I just received a £50 goodwill payment from Betfair. :D

I threatened to move to Betdaq if they don't settle the market correctly but I don't know if that had any bearing on the payment.

not asking anyone to divulge exactly their execution but does anyone get involved in a market with joint favourites flip flopping?

I trade them with much more caution and not a huge fan of them

Unless I see real support for something otherwise if I get caught out on the wrong side I tend to get frustrated And let it dictate my mood for a while knowing I should know better, made that mistake two days ago
