Today's Horse Racing
This fn 1m6f race wiped out my 2days profit. What a stinky pile of shit this race was.Got caught on Rocn Gold fn reverse. This race felt totally different from all other races today. Can't figure out what made it so idiotic, unusual distance, runners, it was the last race for today and there were gambles, any opinions?
Btw, there was this strange 20k lay bet inplay on fav and of course fav lost, just like yesterday..

I never used to like the last race of the day. By then winners have won, losers have lost, and all you've got punting is the mad, bad and sad. Anything can happen. Combine that with the focus starting to subconsciously clock off and it was always my danger zone. Never even look at it now. Well to be frank I can't say 'never' but if I do it's for small change as a stress free wind down, never enough to make much difference.
Have you tried looking at your stats on the last race? My first was always ify too, usually because I started too aggressively full of new day optimism, which was often down the pan by race 2.
You need to start the day with a little bit of foreplay and end it with a cigarette, I'm sure you know what to do in the middle.
Hard luck though. Cruel.

The extended lead time the money has to arrive before the first race makes it trade differently to the rest, I tend to just observe it or go very easy if I do get involvedShaunWhite wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 9:36 pm

Most meetings are bookended by the poorer quality races like apprentice races etc, too.

I'm sure you meant that in jest, but for the benefit of any newbies reading this, it's impossible to predict any market movement with 100% certainty, so don't tie yourself up in knots trying to do so.

quite correct Jeff, but one of those prices had to be wrong, the problem was which one?
