Racial hatred ? Where ?
Catholics who follow the official teaching of Rome are not Christians by biblical standards.
Exaggerating the number of crimes can stir up hatred.
I don't know much about religion but if Catholics are not Christians by biblical standards that would suggest they are Christians by some other standard?
I was brought up Catholic and was taught that we were Christian.

Who said IRA terrorists were Catholics or Christians ?, I always considered them something I scrapped off my shoe.
This is my point. Why don't people take the same view when a terrorist claims to be Muslim?
Derek, this is opening up a can of worms...
However, without offending anyone, I will try to explain.
The UK and probably more importantly England has not always dealt with change, easily. If you go back to the 1960s/1970s, walking around London and other major cities, you used to see on Pub doors, Rooms to rent, job vacancies which said along the lines of, No Irish or Blacks. I didn't dream it as I saw them myself. It was the norm and not the odd one here or there.
It has taken decades for peoples attitudes to change but the majority now accept them.
Now, Islam and Muslims are a different ball game and will take many more decades to become accepted, if they ever will.
Why ?
Beheadings on camera, Child sex exploitation, running down an off duty solder in London / stabbing him / virtually removing his head in public. Yes, the UK has seen some horrible crimes committed by many different cultures. But some are considered more sick than others to some when reading their morning paper over breakfast. Also, they don't do enough to integrate. Rather have their own place of worship, separate schools, own communities etc etc.
And to cap it all, we are told to accept them, hold hands and dance around a tree otherwise WE will end up on the wrong side of the debate/law.
So, maybe in 50 years time, things will be different. But don't hold your breath.
