Does anyone trade cross over points.
I see when you lay at 3.0 the next price is 3.05, which is a movement of 0.05 but if the price goes the other way you only lose by 0.02 every tick.

That's true but you also have to bear in mind that prices below 3 will move more rapidly and often when it goes below this mark the price will often collapse a bit as people who have tried to lay at 3s because of the extra margin (like you say) will end up falling over themselves to get out, often far lower. Certainly above 3s prices tend to be more static than below
