The following article available via the Help section of the Betfair website:

We do not accept registrations from people residing in

• China & Hong Kong,
• Japan,
• Turkey,
• USA and any surrounding US territory
• France

I doubt you could register an account from any of those countries. Even if you could Betfair block IP's. If you registered in a different country then thats a different scenario.

Hey,

I'm sure you could spoof your location with a proxy but the problem will come if Betfair ask to verify your id. They did with me and a few others I know. This involved providing them with photo id and proof of address.

Bet angel might actually run anyway in your country? I know betfair is blocked through internet browsers in the country im in but betangel runs fine as does betfair on the dell streak.
I also use Identity cloaker as a proxy if i want to access the betfair website to view my account.

If you are able to set up an account being a none US resident you will probably find the hardest thing is to put money on to your account to begin.

Betfair used to work from the US a few years ago but they block all US ip's now.

The biggest issue you have is you can't register if you are in the US, but even if you could things will go wrong when you are forced to do a KYC check to get at your winnings.
