5 pounds matched at 1000 on Lake Return at DownP
It started very slowly so I guess this was matched early in the race.
Anyone who lays a horse, which has not fallen, at 1000 gets what they desrve I reckon

Even if a horse falls it is dangerous to lay at 10000 to 1. Tony McCoy once fell off and got back on the horse and won the race. A lot more than 5,000 lost that day.

That is now banned in the UK but still can be done in Ireland but still I think this is a pretty safe lay still as the true odds are much higher than 1000.0 that a faller would be remounted and won.casapadraig wrote:Tony McCoy once fell off and got back on the horse and won the race.
