I know one person who placed a trade, they jumped in, he had no stops and lost his account balance in less than 2 minutes.

And don't forget, even if you have stops and the market moves at pace there is no guarantee you will get filled!!!!!
It sounds like they panicked, it's usually the case that some sort of normality has returned by the time they actually start the race.

Lots of people out there incl bookies and the sportsbook side won't let the flag drop with a crazy price on the table. Don't enter when it's mayhem, enter near value when it's calm, ride out the crazy spikes (if they're against you) and settle up at the off.

All this chasing easy money, overstaking when it's volatile and panicking to get out at any price is exactly how these manipulators take the mug money.

Totally agree, but you have to have your arse kicked before you learn to deal with these situations.

We're all used to seeing the market move against us, tick by tick, and debating getting out or giving it more time. But when the price is dropping so fast you struggle with the scroll bars on the ladder there's an equation in your head that says, at this rate the price will soon hit 1.01, and that's what causes the panic. :)

I agree.

But it only happens like twice a year.

Must be someone with lots of money. See's something they fancy running and decides to cause mayhem and makes 50k in the process and then goes back into hibernation for 6 months. Either that or it funds their annual trip to Thailand or something.

You would think they would automate it and do it on every race 24/7.

I wonder what entry criteria is, pure random ????

This can not be the usual bomber, looks like someone has found out about an exchange software for the first time and managed to get lucky the very first race they tried it yesterday on

Ok same issue as yesterday for me. Market sticking, freezing for a few seconds, already happened twice on the first race. Other people were having the same issue yesterday, anybody know what it is?

Definitely not my internet connection before any suggests it.

It's been freezing for me for the last 2 or 3 days, definitely not my internet connection as only seeing the freeze when using BA. It lasts about 2 seconds each time, it's a bit worrying as you can't see if your moneys been taken.
