found it very awkward today
definitely, wish I’d never fired the PC up today, thinking about it I should’ve looked it as a Bank Holiday with the amount of meetings on, pretty annoyed with myself really

Thought it was a good day, decent quality racing on, short gaps between races with most of the races going off to time meant the money arrived into the markets in a short concentrated period which meant the fill rate was very good allowing good stake sizes to be used, there wasn't the time for the manipulators to get their teeth into the markets and there were some good large moves about as well as good scalping markets, which all added up to an above average Saturday. What is one persons good markets is another persons bad markets though the aim is to be able to adapt to the market conditions so they all become good markets :D

True, but inplay was shit for me anyway, nowhere near yesterdays inplay. Thanks to damn races overconcentration I guess.

The opposite for me. I just couldn't do anything right inplay yesterday and lost a quarter of my bank. Today I've clawed back about a fifth of what I lost yesterday.

true, but today I found myself starting to guess moves & looked for moves in the wrong places which I am so pissed off about, couldn’t get into it like yesterday..

what I would give to sit on the shoulder of a professional trader on a Saturday, from start to finish

It wouldn't have helped you today as I just couldn't get into the groove. Usually, love Saturdays.

I trade near finish, maybe that's the difference.

Yes, that's very different to me. I try to trade as early on in the race as the movements allow and then get out.

I'm fairly new to Pre-Race Trading. I noticed a few posts today saying it was a bad day/sticky etc. In what way was today different to the usual Saturday? I noticed even Peter didnt enjoy today.

personally I found the gaps between the markets not wide enough for punters get on to create a readable move, there are those on here that did well today & fair play to ‘em, as PDC has eluded to.. market conditions suit some & not others, today wasn’t my day, just couldn’t find anything in ‘the zone’

A spoofer's throwing his money around at Belmont, and I suspect losing some of it.

A lay bet against your qualifying bet will void this promotional offer.

 I reckon backing the entire field for a small loss might be worthwhile if it counts for the promotion.
