Is there a way of placing bets with stake below 2€?
In dutching it is done automatically, but not on the other tools.
Thank you.

Let's say you want to back with stakes 1 EUR at odds 2.50.

1. Place back bet with odds 1000 (or whatever very high odds which will not be matched) and stake 2 EUR.
2. Go to the bet and change stake from 2 EUR to 3 EUR. After that, you will have two bets, both at odds 1000, and stakes 2 EUR and 1 EUR.
3. Cancel bet with stake of 2 EUR.
4. Go to remaining bet of 1 EUR, and change odds from 1000 to 2.50. Now, you have bet of 1 EUR at odds of 2.50.

If you want to lay, the same procedure applies, except in step 1, where you need to offer odds 1.01 instead of 1000. Pay attention not to mix it.

Also pay attention that Betfair doesn't approve this procedure; if they wanted smaller stakes, they would probably allow it. They say that if you do it way too often, they will first warn you, and then suspend your account.

Thank you for your reply, in fact I knew this "trick", but what I meant is if it can be done via Bet Angel automatically (fast) in the one-click or ladder interface, and also using the excel link.

Go to the dutching or bookmaking screen, put your stake in the 'Back with a stake of' box. Tick the price you want, click place bets.

You can now place a bet from 1p or whatever currency you are using.

Is that right?

I never knew that
I'd be interested to know what level of bets you would need to do before Betfair warned you

I also haven't ever faced any consequences for placing bets below minimum; though, I had found the warning at another software vendor, Market Feeder Pro, and ever since I have been aware of that; I can't confirm if it's true, but it says:
We received a few complaints from users whose accounts were suspended or under the threat of suspension due to their abusing this function. Please beware that BetFair do not encourage you betting below the minimum allowed bet size!

Betfair will suspend accounts that a placing loads of bets under the minimum but it's usually only if you are really abusing it.
