Just saw a crazy $27k drop in on the favorite at Penrith Pace forcing the price down from 4 to 2.8 (race only had 42k matched) - it didnt win !!

Canberra Acton is the artificial/synthetic track. Pakenham and Geelong also have the two surface options through winter

yeah it's just Pakenham, and sometimes you will hear Sandown called Ladbrokes Park... the corp scum are wrapping their tentacles around the country
We have the same problem in the UK with individual races. The Stewards Cup and Bunbury Cup are two historic races, probably over a century old, and in recent years those names have been replaced with the sponsor's name, which I can't even remember.
