Isn't Ed Chamberlin the guy who knew absolutely nothing about horse racing before he was offered the job?
He still doesn't! I find him a terrible presenter.

Hmmm looks like Pentland Hills needs visor or blinkers.
Or as Piggot said to owners once after a race.
The best thing you can do is put a bit of lead in his right ear, to act as a counterbalance ... with a shotgun

weird thing today, 1955 galway was suspended on my guardian at around 1430, I had bets open, bets matched and closed: overall positive position. I check on betfair page, no bets whatsoever, bets that were made were not on nonrunners. Yes I'm sure im in live mode. What's more is volume traded is showing less than what it was. No evidence of bets being placed except for in Bet Angel. Whats the deal with that?

Betfair Help
@BetfairCS
We have had to void the original 19:55 Galway markets due to a internal technical issue unfortunately.

3.10 Bangor
Would probably lay Passing Call
and back Fort Jefferson here
But not too confident.
I never follow anyones tips, but to be honest I wouldn't even post if I wasn't confident and if you do post an explanation of why you're laying the horse would help or it's just useless. Good luck with your betting anyway.
+1 Every horse gets backed and every horse gets laid, so there's absolutely no point in giving tips without a reason.
Maybe a separate thread for people tipping after validation. You'd be writing forever if you gave a reason behind bets if a decent judge then you have to deal with aftertimers giving opinions why you was wrong after the race! Pretty pointless waste of time

Yes that is right, it was a non runner before the race and was announced, it was because they forgot to put the cheek pieces on the horse so wasn't allowed to run. I don't know why Betfair didn't bother removing it before the off as there was plenty of time but maybe they have to wait for notification via some official channel before they do it and maybe they didn't get notification in time despite it being clear it was a non runner and it being announced on TV and on course.

I had just over £100 on Foxtrot Lady just a minute before off-time and it was taken in about 20 parts!!

You'd think they'd be a few big traders snapping up the orders in the Stewards Cup!
