If you're sitting too far from the fire it wouldn't get taken at all. Yes, if you look at their sites there's lists of which courses each has contracts with. But all races are also on Betfair's video stream, which is faster. That's free if you meet the minimum bet requirement which I believe is now only £2. Enter a £2 back and a £2 lay and it should never cost you more than a few pence even if you do it with your eyes shut.
