Today's Horse Racing
It's very frustrating this week. I've got extensive notes about the week after Goodwood and I've never enjoyed it and this week hasn't change those notes.
I'd imagine I'll pick up a few quid on the golf so that will help a lot this week.

Those withdrawals livened things up a but
I keep notes of how individual courses trade for me but I never thought of keeping time based notes - sounds like quite a good idea.
Every market is unique but some courses have more stable markets than others. At Randwick you can lay a horse at 4.3 and be fairly confident of backing it at 4.5.
Fairyhouse, lay a horse at 4.3, you might back it at 5.0 or you might close trade at 3.2!
Liquidity varies depending on the course, day of week, and as Peter pointed out it can change week to week as well as month to month.

Could I ask 1 question about usa and oz racing
Which meetings go inplay/running on betfair
I can guess who might answer this
Regards variants, depends which is a variant and which one or combination of each/many to use and the outcome of each or many . so diff to answer to each or many , unless you know roughly
I think VBA does that does it not?
But standard times eg racing post is important as a starting point
eg Going allowance
the bracket after the result (5.69)time below average
ps Euler book is on its way

Most Australian meetings go in-play. With US I would guess about 60% of them go in-play. Saratoga, Delaware, Belmont, Evangeline Downs are examples of meetings that don't go in-play.StellaBot wrote: ↑Thu Aug 09, 2018 11:16 pmCould I ask 1 question about usa and oz racing

I'm not aware of any list, but just look at the markets on the Betfair website. It has a 'going in play' symbol in the top left of the market if it goes in play.
Most meetings either always or never go in-play but there is the odd exception.
Well that means i need to build a database of horse prices.
