Barney Curley may well have Me Fein in this race to add to the mix but the interesting horse is the top weight Betabob. This horse is still a maiden and despite 24 attempts he has not got his head in front. It was therefore quite strange to see a Racing Post forecast price of 2.75!

However when you check on Betfair you'll see that he is now priced around the 4.0 Mark and even this is on the short side in my honest opinion. I think his price is likely to drift even more when punters realise what a terrible record he has. We just have to hope that At the Adverts do mention it and point out how many times he has been beaten and how vulnerable he still is off this current mark. Knowing our luck they will probably go for an ad break!

Even the current favourite Clu Agus Cail is a dodgepot so we could see real movement in this market. The horse to keep an eye on could be Bold Warning. The Racing Post have summed it up pretty well as he did travel strongly last time out and appeared to tire in the rain softened ground. The ground is faster today and should suit him. Mind you it's not a race that displays any quality at all.

well it seems that punters will never learn. How on earth can they back a horse that is a maiden after 24 attempts into such a ridiculous price?

The race was set up perfectly for him with the front runners desperately trying to cut each other's throats, jumping appalling and despite all that Betabob still couldn't win the race!!

How many times will the lemmings jump off the cliff?

I forgot to mention you on my e-mail that all the horses that not suppose to be backed so heavily, according to my stats, have lost the race.
