Amazing 5 horse race,

Celestial Halo traded at 1.06

Rougham traded 1.22

Diamond Brook 1.02

The Brimmer 3.10

Jocheski 1.1

and I lost my internet right in the middle of the race, not sure that was a good thing or a very bad thing

I usually leave 10% behind when Im in profit. I lay all horses 1.1. This time i left 100%. Only because I was watching the race I thought it was worth the risk.

are you selecting the races or just laying all horses for all races?

This sums up what I posted on Jimmythecard's thread

You'll make more money by laying all horses at 1.20 than by trying to chase down the price of a horse apparantely on the brink of winning

Why not download betfair data and then test this?

It would save a lot of time and then you could group your results by race type, distance, course, day of the week. e.t.c

I have sent him an e-mail about this as well. Lay all 1.1 is better then lay all 1.2. If you chase 1.2 you must increase your % every 4 races. If you chase 1.1 you must increase your % every 9 races. However you may have one matched in one day or nun at all. I got matched 21 over 150 races and 1 with 3 horses. So if i decrease now my % for an other 50races I will defenately be in profit over 200 races.

Yes but are you doing this on any historical research?

I used to do a research on this subject. What amazes me is how alive markets are and how thin edges are.
