Betdaq Liquidity

Hi,

I havent used Betdaq for a while and was wondering if anyone is or has been using it and if so has the liquidity improved any or is it still a long way off
betfair as they badly need some competition?

I think it's still an ideal testing ground for newbies, but for larger full-time traders, the markets are just too weak

Thanks. Maybe its better for traders using small stakes by gobbling up the small fish? I'm assuming its easier to read the Betdaq markets as there will be less Trader manipulation pre off?

completly disagree with the good for newbies view due to lack of liquidity.

only knowledgable traders can survive on betdaq because of the lack of liquidity.

last time i looked it had got slightly better.

esp on horses im told.

Not really imo, betdaq just mirrors betfairs prices exactly.

I often wondered why this is. If there is a false move on betfair, then betdaq follows the false move. That seems strange to me.

It must be becourse betdaq users look at betfair, when trading on betdaq. Or am I totally wrong here

I'm pretty sure betdaq just seed the markets themselves using a bot that is aligns itself to betfair, albeit with bigger spreads than betfair

book betfair 103-105% daq will be 105-110..

Well someone clearly keeps the prices in check
most probably it's betdaq themselfs imo.

You never seem to get matched at a price until that price has been taken on betfair,
it's like trading with a delay ,
at least you can get yourself near the front of the que and fill in the gaps in prices thoe on betdaq so it's not all bad.
