Done a bit of digging and Sam Thomas owns as well as trains a horse called "Wonga Swinger". Wonga just went into administration so this suspect backing of Mega Mind could be linked to a last ditch effort to bag some money before they go under

I've known Timeform to have a similar comment about a debutant running in a group 3 race in Ireland, got backed from 100-1 to 6-1, ended up a non-runner, but the next time it ran Timeform did a bit more research and came up with a more glowing pedigree!
