I have added a greening up rule as a separate rule and that seems to work fine.
But i read somewhere you also had to add it to the backbet rule as a condition.
When I added the same rule as a condition - it stopped firing in any backbacks? As soon as I deleted that as a condition and just left it as a separate rule, it seems to work ok.
Can anyone explain why it does this?
Greening up selections as a condition
If you have a 'green-up' rule with a condition to green up if greater than £2 profit available - then it will only fire if £2+ profit becomes available - presumably you will have placed bets using other rules or manually to create the profit.
If you have a 'place bet' rule with a condition to place the bet if £2 profit available - then it too will only fire if £2+ profit becomes available - which might mean never if you are relying on the bet in the rule to create the profit.
You might have got your wires crossed somewhere in the advice given. It is not unusual for instance to have rules to fire bets and a rule to green up for the profit - and in those cicumstances it is often the case to have a condition in the bet rules NOT to fire any more bets when the green -up profit condition has been met.

hmm yeah I can understand it would trigger it to NOT fire any more backbets in once the condition was met but the condition wasn't met?
The green up rule should have triggered at -£3.00. The selection was on zero. It wouldn't even allow the first back bet to be fired in.
