...for the second time in a week - we don't have that problem here.

Don't know why they can't run the race without it, after all, racing has taken place for centuries with photo finish cameras!

Someone did a windows update ;)

All sorts of trouble with all these trainers training their horses to the minute :)

I hope they make up the time as otherwise going to cause issues throughout the rest of the session.

What amazes me is how all these European horses when in Europe need several weeks between runs, take them to Australia and they can run again in a week or less. Must be magic that air in Oz ;)

Remember the 2012 1000 Guineas?

All horses withdrawn from the stalls following an accident, bar two. The two outsiders who weren't disadvantaged by going into the stalls finished first and second, Homecoming Queen winning by seven lengths - retired without ever winning another race!

It is daft isn't it, just shows how easily trainers are influenced. They wouldn't dare do that in the UK for no good reason other than 'it isn't the done thing'. Mark Johnson is the only trainer I can really think of who is happy to actually race his horses.

It is one of the reasons I like Australian racing so much, you get to know the horses because you get to see them run so often. Whereas in the UK you could be lucky to see a horse run 5 times in the whole year.

Markets have been very good so far I have thought, pulling in some excellent results away from Flemington as well.

Good camaraderie, you get a bit of feeling of community on the forum as the meeting progresses. :)

Good to have Dallas and Peter join 'the usual' crowd tonight.

The amounts being used to try and control the fav in the 3:25 were pretty big. Whoever it is is really going for it tonight. Quite enjoying them doing it.

They did well to make up all that time in one race!
