The delayed start on the 2nd meant a bagged a decent recent

Another loss at Flemington, almost missed the start at Randwick due to the delay, but won it all back in just a few clicks!

I'm convinced that blind random mindless clicking on a Randwick market would prove profitable. :D

I'd be grateful if racing was delayed long enough for me to cook a pizza. ;)

Don't know if you're able to trade NSW courses but the delay's going to cause timing problems between the two meetings for me.

The rain has almost passed at Flemington.

Over 50mm of rain + 5mm of irrigation overnight.

Are there any set new race times? I have had a look online but can't find anything, seems like they are just making up the start times as they go along?

I think the third was delayed five minutes (according to Betfair timings) but the rest are on schedule.

R4 was slightly late (3 minutes), for Australia, for the UK it was early ;) So looks like things are back on track. I hope the weather improves for all those on track as it would be a shame if it stays raining for such a big day.

The commentary and video available are great compared to the UK.

The whole presentation of Oz racing is light years ahead of our racing. Even just things like the commentator being called up when there is an issue at the start so he can let viewers know what is happening.

This brings a new meaning to 'fill your boots':

The body clock of the likes of Ryan Moore must be all over the place given the travel he and others have done recently, it is like popping down to Oz is like popping down to the shops. Yes they will be travelling in first class but still, he has been all over the world the last week or so, UK > Oz > UK > USA > Oz
