Perfectly safe !! And you were being eminently sensible with your comments .. but the subject is closed.... I hope !!ShaunWhite wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 4:47 pmSorry you two... I think I was me that spilled your pint and now I've come back in the room I see it's nearly caused a classic, cowboy movie style bar brawl. Is it safe for the piano player start up again ?![]()

Betfair failed to put the 17:50 - Chelmsford City - To Be Placed market inplay
Edit: it appears from the charts it did go inplay but it remained suspended on both the API and website for me
Edit 2: It seems to have been suspended throughout for others as well, not seen anyone say it was okay, but bets were being matched throughout the race and the placed horses matched at 1.01 - very odd.

Felt like I was trying to get blood out of a stone this afternoon done much better already tonight
The last time when it happened, bf voided all bets placed inplay.PDC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 5:54 pmBetfair failed to put the 17:50 - Chelmsford City - To Be Placed market inplay

Agreed, much better this evening.lukesanges wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 6:57 pmFelt like I was trying to get blood out of a stone this afternoon done much better already tonight
The issue was more that it appears to have been suspended yet bets were being matched, so it appears some people did have access to the market despite it never going inplay and just remaining suspended when the race started. I haven't seen that before, I have only seen reports of people saying it was suspended. So how could bets be matched when no one had access to the market unless some people have 'special' access.napshnap wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 7:13 pmThe last time when it happened, bf voided all bets placed inplay.PDC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 5:54 pmBetfair failed to put the 17:50 - Chelmsford City - To Be Placed market inplay

SOme USA races last night also had suspension/inplay issues. ZIa park race 1,2 and Turf paradise race 4 last didn't get suspended , or put in play until they were crossing the winning post. Luckily i stopped Betangel from placing many lay bets. My lays have been paid out. I'm still waiting on a response from the trading team about getting them refunded. It shoudn't be so difficult to suspend a race when it jumps. It happens far to often on USA races. It's barely worth running automation if you can't trust them to close races.
Check my messages if you are interested, it happened a few months ago.PDC wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 7:28 pmAgreed, much better this evening.lukesanges wrote: ↑Wed Nov 07, 2018 6:57 pmFelt like I was trying to get blood out of a stone this afternoon done much better already tonight

I also had this market (17:50 - Chelmsford) opened, and it was frozen, I tried to open it several times, but it did not help. But I was able to place bets (to close my open positions), and they were not voided.
Not cool, I'd prefer them all to be voided.
I'm down to 2 as well, but I'd rather extort as much as I can get out of them. There are still one or two I've never had an account with, and I'm always hopeful a few more might pop up.
I've given up trying to arb with Ladbrokes. I think they're hard-wired to the exchange, they knock their prices down almost instantaneously when there's money for a horse on Betfair, so I'd always have that account if I wanted it for emergencies.
Im with you Letiss especially when 2 weeks ago Derek27 posted he had 1 bookie account left but now is down to 2 Hmmmmm
Sorry i might have misread yourt reply slightly and im sorry to appear negative in one of my first posts but as a long time lurker on here I really enjoy reading 90% of the posts each day but seeing Derek continually post about his premium charge for the umteenth time in the last few weeks and in between how he trades illiquid markets with small stakes doesn't add up to me.
I guess if it makes him feel better to pretend to be a PC payer thats up to him, im sure im not the only one to see through him and expect the real racing pros who frequent the forum daily and keep track of most comments could certainly tell he's not in the pc catagory.
Anyway now i've joined up i hope to get involved with some more postive posts and discussion with members of the forum in the coming weeks
