Another early start to the racing tonight/morning. Looking forward to it, think it will be a good session, I just need to be careful not to get carried away trading the NSW meetings having used up some of my 24 race allowance already.

Plenty of European interest tonight at Flemington.

I will be swerving the UK/Irish evening racing in order to get some sleep before the Oz session.
That was my initial plan but somehow I never seem able to stick to it so will just bite the bullet again and stay awake - had a slightly later rise this morning which should help

I will still be missing the even UK junk though and using the time to rest up a bit

I must admit I have gotten the Aus bug to recently although its hard to trade them with my day job maybe automation will get me a foot in the door
Welcome to the forum , tho I suspect your initial posts havnt done you any favours

In what respect have you “ gotten the Aus bug “, and what is your knowledge of austrailian racing and the markets .

Do you use automation , and what markets do you trade and how do you trade them.
Impressions from your initial negative posts, display an alarming lack of knowledge and understanding.

And you ain’t going to get much help if your posts continue to be in the same vein .

Still early days
Thats a bit pot kettle is it not?
half the posts you make are either to have a dig at someone or when you are expressing your opinion that they are and I quote a walter mitty or are otherwise full of it in someway!
Only this morning I seen you post on another thead out the blue trying drag up a months old of someone being exposed as not what they pretended to be. I guess this is your exclusive right...

I wont bother responding to the rest of your reply as I don't think they are genuine and dont want to drag any threads off topic in pointless tit for tats so we'll end it here
I was genuinely interested in what attracted you to Australian Racing and your depth of knowledge regarding the tracks and markets. So once again you’ve made a wrong assumption.
Pleased you’ve read so many of my posts, and Derek’s. But I’m sure you don’t need any advice.Tho might I suggest you read J B Priestley,s Delight,it’s always good to be positive.

Enjoy your trading

It looks like ATR are showing the Channel 7 coverage only tonight of Flemington and then dovetailing it with Hong Kong when that starts and then just Hong Kong after Flemington finishes.

Wish they would still show the other tracks between Flemington :(

If cappy's resentment of me is shared by many, just say so. I'm happy to leave the forum to make way for this arsehole?

I don't know if it's just me and Halliday he doesn't like, or whether he's going to start slagging off others?

Derek, I can't see where anyone has asked or suggested for you to leave the forum, and unless I've missed something or posts have been deleted from what I can see this appears to be down to he or she not believing your P/L on another thread and now been dragged over to this one.
Whenever someone posts or refers to there profits on any forum its bound to be questioned from time to time by some but its not acceptable to be attacking and calling people names in this way.

If you have an issue with a user or something someone has said its probably best to ignore them or deal with it via PM, I'm looking forward to getting stuck into Melbourne again tonight and want to read how others are getting as well on this thread as I'm sure others do to without having to wade through these type of posts

The issue is that I haven't posted any P/L or given any indication of profits, yet cappy's calling me a liar for claiming to pay PC. cappy also claims that other traders (presumably through PMs as there's nothing on the forum) have the same train of thought, which is why I raised the question to the forum?

It's all well and good attacking someone on this forum but this guy appears to be speaking on behalf of other unnamed traders?

I don't wanna drag this out anymore but... The problem is, in any field, people can make (& sometimes quite accurate) judgements simply on how people act/behave.

I had a cycling holiday on the IOW recently - & when I was riding, you instinctively can work out who the good riders are.

What gear/bike do they have, how do they dress, how are they pedaling, are they surging, are they rocking on the bike, how's their breathing, are they overweight?

If Peter rode past me, I'd instantly make that judgement (& he'd do the same me). I don't know what his FTP is - but I can roughly work it out ;)

Exact same applies in this forum. A lot of traders could probably humble anyone they wanted with a couple of "trading related questions"!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WrfR5LBmnk :D

(also it applies to me as well) - these posts here (below) are a total red flag; I don't know what I'm talking about (which a top pro will spot)

Thanks Simon, that should encourage him. This guy doesn't think he's quite accurate but 100% accurate and certain!

It could, but basically I'm just saying people should be judged on their content. If people then wanna make a guess on p&l that's up to them (I will make a judgement on a cyclist if they pass me :D )

I was a huge fan of Ferru when he was around - I didn't care what his p&l looked like; I thought he offered some great counter arguments. & before he left, gave me a couple of really interesting insights (which I'd have never know had I not got in contact).

Wishing everyone a great day of trading for the last day of the carnival.

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.

I find it suprising that nobody's asked for an NSW indicator on Guardian quick picks.
I know it's not in the data, but it's not like the tracks are going to move.
