No worries!

It's nice to read something from the pre-PC era, when authors were free to write what they actually believed! :)

You wouldn't get away with the following today:

Couple of repeated mantras but stated in a different laguague,

If small profits are taken then small losses must be taken. Not to have the courage to take accept a loss and too eager to take profit is fatal.

The rule is to act cautiosly with public opinion and boldly against it
