Having BA on a seperate PC
Would you incur charges for having BA set up on a Laptop running at the same time as your main PC. I want the Laptop on as standby should my Internet connection on main PC crash which can happen from time to time, incase i have any open positions. Laptop is on a seperate tight connection server, also what is this VPS feed connection is it any good
As long as you didnt have the auto refresh box ticked then the answer should be no. It might be a good idea to refresh it from time to time though just to make sure your connection doesn't 'go to sleep', this might not apply to your connection but does to mine
It all comes down to API requests. You are allowed 20 per wall clock second (on one Betfair account) before Betfair start charging you. You can offset this cost against a number of things. Here is the link for all you need to know

Not sure what you mean by your tight connection on your laptop but I would favour a mobile internet dongle for the laptop so you have both hardware and connection redundancy.
