That happened to me about 4 years ago. I had £250 disappear & when I phoned Betfair, I received the same outcome. A customer had placed a £250 bet over the phone & they placed it on my account by mistake. I'd completely forgotten about that until you mentioned it. In all fairness to Betfair they were very good about this and refunded the money straight away
