Spreadsheet Newbie - Excel isn't Connecting (BetDaq)

Using Betdaq, I have 'Excel Starter 2010' but for some reason it won't connect and I can't open a spreadsheet. Do I need a newer version of Excel?

Spooky...I was thinking the same today as I also only have 2010 Starter. Maybe we need the full version.

Full version? I'm not a techy by any stretch of the imagination. I've been messing around for 18 months but I've avoided using them. Just wondering if there's some deep data that I could be using for my trades. I was hoping to get in on it, but when i hit the 'Open Workbook' and I get a little pop-up saying 'Unable To Open Excel'

OUT OF OFFICE - I'm leaving to be with family over Christmas, if I don't reply, please don't think I'm being rude, I greatly appreciate any help.
