Anyone got any ideas on what to do where there is a Short Odds in the market. My strategy has been to Offset with Greening and go from 15 to 40 ticks on the Lay (in case horse is running very well and falls over itself near finish). Trouble with that strategy is probability that one will lose occasionally if not more frequently and all your scalps are gone with big loss.

Risk free there is oftem a situation where the price for the favourite gets too low and immediately drifts so if you get on tht drift by laying it can go on and on for many manty ticks and when it levels out take the money and out you come ....whether it sets all the bots off or people just decide its a poor value bet to win I dont know but it happens regularly so its watch and wait and if it doesnt happen nothing lost .. safe as houses ...this has to be PRE OFF only dont take it in play ...
