Have a bot running all day.
Showing profit last month or so.
Yesterday, I happened to be at home.
Watched the race , the bot firing ok as usual.
Layed a horse which got beat.
Betfair statement made it a winner.
Waited an hour or so.
No change.
Contacted online custumer services, money paid back 1/2 hour later.

Is there a way to check ostensibly lost bets ?
Im thinking of horses and greyhounds.
I predict a large % loss in my systems, but predict larger % profit, so lots to check in all horse and greyhounds for a day.
Any ideas plz?

I have not looked back over previous trades, due to amount to sift through

edit I know how to download all bets into a spreadsheet then sort order into win loss. But this would mean checking all losing races

Bit confused as to what you need if the Betfair files aren't sufficient? Surely just downloading the Betting history files, as opposed to the market p&l files, should give you everything you need and all in one excel spreadsheet. I'd imagine the race that was settled incorrectly would have eventually been settled correctly as you wouldn't have been the only one to notice. Was the race this one here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17993

Wasnt that race
Oh more than 1 now
Anyway, yes I can download all bets
But is checking 100s or 1000s of bets acceptable?

SB the point is , should not have to check

But you don't need to check results as any errors are always resettled correctly.

Checking all your losing bets to make sure any mistakes have been corrected properly would take a great deal of effort on your part.

You would need to cross reference your P&L statement line by line against BF results files. You could probably automate it in Excel to some degree.

I reconcile my P/L and expected balance with Betfair on a daily basis, but I appreciate if you're botting a massive number of markets that may be impractical.
